Monocacy Park in Bethlehem, PA is a gorgeous urban park. It doesn't necessarily have a lot of hiking trails, but there's an awesome walking path and a cute little creek running through. There's a pavilion which is a great gathering spot and the whole park is surrounded by deep history. Some of the most successful steel mills were in Bethlehem PA and you can see evidence of that all around. The German Moravians also helped build the city and a lot of the architecture in the park mirrors that old world feel. There's also a small waterfall attached to a mill that you can walk across via a bridge. The bridge always has lovers' locks on it and my partner and I enjoyed a picnic there and placing our own lock on the bridge. I personally loved living in Bethlehem because the city really did care for its natural spaces and encourage the public to get out and enjoy them.
