Ironton Rail Trail

The Ironton Rail trail is a approx. 14 mile trail in the Lehigh Valley that follows and old railroad path. It takes you through many towns, rich with industrial history, forested areas with brooks and creeks, and a few neighborhoods. My partner and I completed the trail in late Spring a few years back and it was such an enjoyable day. I remember getting home and barely being able to move, but still feeling like I was in motion after the long day of walking. After that trek I had so much more respect for long distance walkers and through hikers.
