I haven't skied in five or six seasons. That's mostly because life has taken me away from skiable terrain and I don't travel for skiing.
However, I was recently gifted some lift tickets by a ski-patroller friend, and I am going skiing this weekend!
West Mountain, in upstate NY. Anyone ever been? It looks tiny, so I doubt it.

West Mountain was so fun! The conditions were better than we expected. The general vibe of the place was old school, quaint, and laid back. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
We skied for a half day and then reported to the bar at the base to celebrate our first ski day in years. b****y Mary's were on special, so you know what I ordered.
It felt so good to get reacquainted with skiing. We already want to go back, but considering the season is about over, we'll save the stoke for next year.
