Last summer, I took the leap into RV life for the first time, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of freedom on wheels. We started our journey in Yellowstone National Park, pulling up to our first campsite with the engine still warm from the road.
Setting up was easy—just a few adjustments and the campsite felt like home. Inside, the small comforts of the RV—a cozy bed, a kitchen to cook in, and a window overlooking the mountains—made the world outside feel far away. Each day, we woke up to fresh air, packed up, and hit the road again, chasing the horizon from one stunning national park to the next.
The best part? The spontaneity. We could pull over at any breathtaking viewpoint, stay longer if we felt like it, or drive until we found the perfect spot to park for the night. The RV turned the entire journey into an adventure, and I realized quickly that travel, when it’s this flexible, takes on a whole new meaning.
Have you ever hit the road in an RV? What was your best road trip?
