In undergrad and graduate school, I commuted 300+ a year. Currently, I have dropped off in terms of commuting compared to the good old days. Things are a little more spread out than I am used to. And I'm shopping for two instead of one, which makes my current setup a little too small. But I still do A LOT on my bicycle. I love it, and it's a major part of my lifestyle.
I have been riding a steel single-speed Bianchi that I converted into a commuter, complete with a front rack for pizzas. 🍕 Or my steel Surly gravel bike. They're amazing bikes that I've owned for literal decades at this point.
But for a while now, I've had a vision of a do-everything, commuter bicycle that would eliminate the need for my car (at least in terms of living in the city). I can grocery shop with it, run errands, transport passengers etc. It's electric and European (how exotic, I know).
It's the Riese and Muller Carrie
