Opinions: What's The Best All-Around Hunting Rifle?

I realize this is a pretty open-ended question. There are so many variables that play into this. Personally, I know I typically like a 243, a 300 win mag, or a 30-06 cartridge size. I know I like a bolt-action. I know I've faired well with Brownings and Remingtons through the years....but what is the best all-around?

 I'm really curious to hear other people's opinions on what the most versatile rifle in the game is! Sure, you can have a safe full of firearms with different purposes. But if you had to pick one do-it-all rifle, what would it be? Why?
