Best Tires for Off-Roading

When I first got my Toyota 4 Runner, I knew I wanted to make a lot of tweaks for 1 -aesthetic and 2- peak backcountry performance. It was the tires that I was the most undecided about. After much deliberation, I went with the Toyo Open Country A/Ts, and I've never looked back.

I have had so much success with them in so many different environments- sand, mud, snow, and they even hold up on the asphalt when the conditions are less than ideal.

Let's talk tires. What models have worked best for you? Do you feel there is a better fit for 4 Runner TRDs? I'd love to hear about them!
