Winter Fly Fishing

One of the best kept secrets in the fly-fishing community, in my humble opinion, is what a blast it is to get out there in the winter.

Sure, you might need a couple of extra layers, but it reignites the excitement of streams that become familiar to you during the warmer months. There's virtually no one to compete with for water space, the quiet beauty of the sport is even more profound when surrounded by snow, and it gives you the opportunity to explore pockets of water you normally wouldn't.
