A couple of summers ago, I found a fly road, reels, flys, and other fishing equipment in the middle of the road. I'm not kidding– I think it fell out of someone's truck. After trying to find its rightful owner and failing, I adopted the equipment. So now I have a rod, reels, and some very basic casting skills.
So, for a novice fly fisherman like me, what sort of advice do you have?
