I recently ventured into Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, and let me tell you, it felt like stepping into another world. The towering sequoia trees, some over 3,000 years old, left me in awe. One of the most incredible moments was standing at the base of the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree on Earth by volume. It was hard to even grasp how massive it was—its trunk felt endless as I craned my neck to look up.
As I hiked through the Giant Forest, the air was crisp, and the smell of pine filled my lungs. The peaceful silence of the woods was only interrupted by the occasional rustle of leaves or a distant bird call. The sheer size of these trees made me feel tiny in the best possible way.
