My mother is a beach lover and as she nears her retirement, she's getting excited about the possibility of moving South and volunteering with sea turtle rescues. I wonder if anyone has good resources or favorite organizations who educate about sea turtles or have volunteer positions? She has visited sanctuaries on her many vacations to the Carolinas and thinks this is where she'd like to relocate to. So any recommendations on sea turtle conservation in the North/South Carolina or Virginia area would be awesome!
