The picnic table

Is there a more iconic table? Something more durable? Classic? A type of table that's been the foundation for more butts, card games, family meals and...picnics? I'd argue no.

The wooden picnic table is the ultimate table.  Finally, I am so pleased to have one of my own. And it's BLUE! We bought the pre-fabricated table but then took the time to sand it and paint it with a blue deck stain. Two hefty coats.

I am excited for it to be a place to gather with family and friends. Somewhere to eat, drink, and play games. I am looking forward to seeing it wear in and become dirty and maybe damaged (hopefully not too bad) from hosting so many shenanigans. Long live the blue picnic table!
