I feel like having an allegiance to a sock brand is unique to the outdoor community. There are honestly so many high quality brands out there to keep the feet warm and comfortable no matter the weather. Thick layers of wool. Precisely engineered combinations and weaves of natural and synthetic fabrics. Intricate and playful designs. When you walk into your favorite gear store, and you're faced with the giant sock wall, how do you choose??
I have lots of brands I trust to keep me comfy while out on adventure, but Darn Tough is my go-to. I worked at a brick and mortar outdoor retailer for years, and you wouldn't believe the mangled socks that would come back into the store. Darn Tough's policy meant I never met a pair of socks, no matter how ratty or worn, that didn't qualify for the ironclad lifetime warranty. Personally, I've never taken advantage of the policy. I love to support them. I was so impressed by their unmatched level of customer satisfaction and dedication to quality, that I'm a forever customer.
