You may think this is a great time to head to Salem, MA for all your spooky tourism activities but I say beware. Growing up in MA, Salem is notorious for just being a headache this time of year. There's no parking, it's hard to get a reservation, and some stores are so packed you can barely move! Go during the off season for sure. All of the spookiness is still there, without the horror of high tourism season!

Someone I used to work with mentioned how she loves Salem, MA. I've been to Boston and Northampton, MA but not Salem.
I see Salem, New Hampshire is also a popular site as it has a pretty snazzy theme park. Have you been there?
