It's wintertime, and I am spending a lot of time inside. I need some book recommendations. Preferably books about the outdoors, adventures, sports, etc.
What are folks reading? Please share your thoughts!
I just finished reading A History of Wild Places by Shea Ernshaw and that was a beautiful, trippy novel about folks living off the land. I also love Walking to Listen by Andrew Forsthoefel, a memoir about his walk from PA to CA. The Nature Fix by Florence Williams is great if you're into data and statistics on the benefits of getting outdoors. Leave No Trace by J. Landau is a detective type adventure that takes place throughout the National Parks if you're into that kind of thing as well.
