Getting Kids Outdoors

I've been working for Girl Scouts the past few months and we've realized how kids seem to be losing interest in camping or outdoors activities. Our summer camp enrollment is down and there seems to be some hesitation around attending outdoor programs. They prefer the programs that are more "STEM" based, focusing on things like robots or coding. What are some strategies you can think of to entice kids to get outdoors? Once they're out there, they love it, but it's hard to get them to take that first step. How could we connect the outdoors to the technology boom that's been happening for years?
