Car camping in a nice campground that functions as a jumping-off point for daytime adventures is one of my favorite types of camping. I love it so much I've spent a lot of time dialing in my setup to make it as comfy as possible.
One thing that makes my setup unique is my selection of tarps and paracords. Between these two items, I can rig up a shelter pretty much anywhere. The shelter is custom every time and works to keep me dry in the rain and shaded in the sun.
On the other hand, my buddy Sal has a fully developed set of cast iron cookware and utensils for cooking over fire. The man brings all the meats and cooks up epic breakfasts and dinners. I've never seen anyone cook like him.
