I don't have kids yet, but my wife and I plan to have one in the coming years. Whenever that happens, we're bound to take the lil babe camping. So, I need your advice!
- Do you have kids? If so, have you camped with them? What are your parenting pro tips?
- Do you not have kids? If not, have you observed family/friends camping with kids? What did you learn?
I don't have kids, but have observed plentyyyyy of families camping with kids! Biggest thing I would say is get them used the outdoors right from the start. Cultivate their sense of wonder and awe and their larger than life curiosity. Kids are meant to be outside so they'll love it as long as you model that nature appreciation! A close friend of mine lives semi full-time in her RV with her husband and 2 year old and they're living the dream- it can be done!

Good idea. And I imagine little bits at a time. Like camping inside, then camping in the backyard, then a single overnight nearby, etc.
