Spent an epic weekend camping at Many Glacier Campground in Glacier National Park, and I might have just found my all-time favorite campsite. Nestled in a valley surrounded by towering peaks, this place felt like pure wilderness, even with other campers around.
Woke up to the sound of loons calling from Swiftcurrent Lake and had a moose casually walk through camp one morning. Hiking access was unbeatable—trails to Grinnell Glacier and Iceberg Lake started right from the campground. After a long day on the trail, sitting by the fire with a cold drink and watching the alpenglow on the peaks was unreal.
Only downside? The campground fills up FAST. We snagged a spot early in the morning, but it’s worth planning ahead.
What’s your favorite national park campground? Any hidden gems I should check out next?
Ah, Glacier is truly spectacular! One of my favorite places!! Camping inside Zion is another favorite for me!
