Quechee State Park in Quechee, Vermont is home to six brand new cabins. They were constructed in 2022 and are still sparkling. Renting a cabin is the only way you can get electricity in a Vermont State Park. These cabins have bunk beds, a futon, and a table and chairs. Outside there's a fire pit, picnic table, and porch. They are also all ADA Accessible which is a huge deal! If you're looking to enjoy the serenity of the forest without the rustic work of tenting, check out a Quechee cabin!
Hey, Sarah, do you live in the Northeast? I've spent the last three years in the West, but I want to hit the Northeast eventually. Got any other recommendations for cabin says in Vermont or anywhere else in that area?
@adventurejunkie Yes! I am a lifelong New Englander (so far, anyway!) Most of the Vermont State Parks have cabins, though it differs on what they have for amenities and if they have electricity. Mount Ascutney State Park in Vermont is a favorite of mine. The cabins are more rustic but they're on a beautiful mountainside, close to the summit. I'll come back at you with more recommendations as I continue to explore Massachusetts!
