I think I am onto something...All my favorite places have cabins. And all my favorite cabins are in my favorite places. Here's the proof:
Exhibit A
Lake Arrowhead, California. A family cabin purchased by my grandparents many decades ago. I've been going every summer since I was a kid.
Exhibit B
Bend, Oregon. A river on the banks of the Deschutes River. Although I spent limited time here while visiting a friend, it was by far the best place I visited in all of OR. I will live, maybe die, in Bend, OR, one day.
Exhibit C
Estes Park, CO. The perfect cabin outside the hustle and bustle of Estes Park. Complete with plenty of National Forest to let the dog run and a jacuzzi in the back.
Have I made an important discovery? Do your favorite places have cabins, too?
