Hey everyone,

I finally checked off a major bucket list item—bungee jumping at Victoria Falls Bridge! Standing 111 meters above the Zambezi River, heart pounding, I almost second-guessed my decision. But once I leaped, it was the most insane rush of adrenaline I’ve ever felt. The freefall, the rebound, the view of the mist rising from the falls—it was all unreal.

For anyone considering it, trust me: the fear before the jump is the hardest part. The moment you step off, it’s pure thrill!

Has anyone else done a bungee jump? Where did you do it, and how did it compare to your expectations? Or if you haven't yet, what's your dream bungee spot?

Let’s hear some wild stories!

I went bungee jumping during a study abroad trip in Costa Rica when I was in undergrad. We were in the Monteverde area of CR, so very tropical rainforest vibes. The jump was positioned over a gaping green chasm. To reach the middle of the chasm, we had to get in a little metal tram suspended on thick cables. The tram slide across the cables and rocked from side to side. The jump instructors definitely made the tram wiggle more than it needed to.

One by one, we watched each other get strapped in and jump off the side of the cable tram. It was a ton of fun! Afterward, we returned to the "mainland" and hung out on a viewing platform to watch more people huck themselves off the tram. The different screams and yelps and laughter made each jump so funny and unique. It was a great day!
