Mount Rainier is over 14,000 ft. up. Even in June, there's still a minimum of 70 percent snow on the ground. Temperature tops out in the 60s to 70s during the day but can get below freezing and windy at night - or so I've read.
Does anybody have any suggestions or tips for buying a one-person tent for a four-day excursion atop Rainier? I'm joining a crew there this summer.

Check out Big Agnes Tents! They have an entire "base camps + mountaineering" category of tents.

I personally love my BA tents. I have a 3-person for car camping and a hyperlight 1-person for bike packing and back packing.
