    I'm not sure it can get much more back country then this! Check out one man's story of living in the Alaskan wilderness.

    I've seen this show before Wild Kingdom I think, back when we only had three chanels on TV in the early 70's

    I live in a log cabin, it is not as snug as you might think, but I do like it.

    If you like wilderness check out the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Quetico Provincial Park. An awesome area in Northern Minnesota and Canada.

    Try Wabakimi Provincial Park. It is the size of Massachusetts and only accessible by Canoe or float plane. North of Lake Nipigon which is due north of Lake Superior.

    Yea, anyone who can hack it in Alaska is a tough cookie in my book..I would love to live in Alaska if it was a hot climate, cannot do cold...
