Pop Up Tent

A couple years ago I bought a really cheap but awesome pop up tent that requires barely any set up. It's one of my favorite pieces of gear to bring when I'm camping alone or for a quick overnight. Recently I stayed in it while touring Vermont with the band I'm in. I don't think it'd make good gear for backpacking because it is kind of bulky. But it's great for casual camping or for families who don't want to waste time on set up. Have you ever used a pop up tent?
